Care guide

How to Care for Linen Bedding

Our linen and linen and cotton bedding is softly washed and machine washable. Here is how we recommend caring for it.

Softly washed

Relaxed and lived-in

Velvet Border is washed 55% French yarn linen and 45% cotton with a silk and rayon blend velvet border (the Chambray listing describes 100% linen). Gypsy Ruffle Linen is garment dyed, pre-shrunk and softened. Care notes differ from piece to piece, so always check the care note on your item's product page.

Questions

Good to know

Can I dry clean it?

Our general wash care says linen and linen and velvet bedding can be dry cleaned if desired. Gypsy Ruffle Linen says there is no need to dry clean. Care notes differ from piece to piece, so always check the care note on your item's product page.

Can I iron it?

Our linen care notes do not cover ironing. If you have a question, email support@linensalvage.com.

Will colors match if I buy more later?

We craft our linen bedding in small dye lots, so colors can vary slightly from lot to lot. Order everything you need at the same time, and order a fabric swatch if you would like to see a color first.
