Our fabrics
Pretty, soft and natural
From the start, we wanted our bedding to be pretty, soft and made of natural fabrics, and we wanted all of it to be washable, with no time for dry cleaning.
Cotton poplin
The foundation of our bed. Many pieces use pre-washed 100% cotton 200 thread count poplin, and our Softly Washed sheets are pre-washed for extra softness.

Cotton voile
A featherweight cotton for ruffles and pretty details. Bella layers two tattered voile ruffles on poplin; Ambrosia frames poplin with two layers of hand-gathered voile.

Prints on cotton poplin
French toiles and vintage florals designed and printed by us in small batches on 100% cotton poplin, then washed so they are pre-shrunk and soft.

Linen
Softly washed and relaxed. Velvet Border is washed 55% French yarn linen and 45% cotton; Gypsy Ruffle Linen is garment dyed, pre-shrunk and softened.

Silk velvet
Soft silk and rayon together: our velvet swatch is 82% rayon and 18% silk, small batch dyed in California. Rich, soft and washable.

Care
How to wash your pieces
From our FAQ and Wash Care page. Always check the care notes on your item's product page too.
Linen, and linen and velvet bedding
- Machine wash in cold water with gentle liquid soap
- No bleach
- Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on a cold setting
- Dry clean if desired
Cotton bedding
- Machine wash in cool water with gentle liquid soap
- No bleach
- Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on a cold or warm setting
- Iron if desired
Silk velvet throws
- Machine or hand wash in cold water on a delicate cycle
- Tumble dry on a cool setting or lay flat to dry
- No bleach and no dry cleaning

A note on color
We dye and print in small batches, so colors can vary slightly from lot to lot. Order everything you need at the same time, and order a fabric swatch if you would like to see a color first.
Find your size
Every piece is listed with exact measurements on our Size Guide. Our fitted sheets have a 13" pocket depth, and all bedskirts have a 21" drop.
