How to Care for Silk Velvet
Our silk velvet bedding, throws and pillows are washable. Here is how to care for each one.
Washable luxury
Silk and rayon, small batch dyed
Our velvet is a silk and rayon blend (our velvet swatch is 82% rayon and 18% silk), small batch dyed in California. It is washable, and the care notes vary by piece, so always check the care note on your item's product page.

Good to know
Can I dry clean it?
It depends on the piece. Our general wash care says linen and velvet bedding can be dry cleaned if desired, Isabella bedding says there is no need, our throws say no dry cleaning, and Velvet Frame pillows say we do not recommend it. Care notes differ from piece to piece, so always check the care note on your item's product page.
Can I iron it?
Our velvet care notes do not cover ironing. If you have a question, email support@linensalvage.com.
Will colors match if I buy more later?
Dye lots can vary slightly from lot to lot, so we recommend buying all the units you need at the same time, for example in pairs if you want two for a sofa. A silk velvet swatch lets you see a color first.
